How much does a wedding DJ cost in Perth?

Wedding DJ packages start from $1,395 for up to 5 hours of reception coverage. Most Perth couples book Signature at from $1,795, which covers up to 6 hours with enhanced lighting. Full-day coverage across ceremony, cocktail hour and reception is from $2,695. MC support is included on every tier.

What changes the price of a Perth wedding DJ?

Three things: how many hours you need, whether you want ceremony and cocktail hour covered as well as the reception, and guest numbers, because the PA is sized to your room rather than crammed into it. Nothing else moves the number. Metro travel, setup, pack-down, the planning call, MC support and a wireless mic are already in every package.

Is the quoted price the final price?

Yes. The quote is the price. There is no travel surcharge inside Perth metro, no setup fee and no charge for MC support. The only thing that can be added afterwards is time — if you ask me to keep playing past the agreed finish, extra hours are $125 per hour, in 30-minute increments, payable on the night.

Why are some Perth wedding DJs so much cheaper?

Usually because something is missing: a separate MC fee, ceremony audio quoted as an extra, no backup gear, or a different DJ turning up than the one you spoke to. I take one wedding per date and run it myself, with full redundancy across mixer, speaker and microphone. Compare what is actually included before you compare the number.

How much do I pay to secure the date?

Nothing until you have read and signed the agreement. Signing your agreement confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions. The booking fee is 50% of your total and is non-refundable. Your date is held once your signed agreement and the 50% booking fee are both received. The balance is due 14 days before the day, or in full up front if your wedding is within 7 days of booking.

Which Perth venues do you cover?

Perth metro and the Swan Valley, with regional WA quoted on request. Wedding venues I have played include Araluen Estate, Beaumonde on the Point and Bedford Bowling Club. Metro travel is included in every package. If your venue is new to me, I do a site walkthrough beforehand so the night runs without surprises.

What happens if you are sick on the day?

One of the senior Perth wedding DJs I trust steps in — same brief, same run sheet, same kit, same standard. It is rare, but if it happens the night still runs.

How do you handle guest requests?

Your list runs the night. Requests that fit the room and your do-not-play list go in. The ones that do not, do not. Nobody gets to hijack the floor.
