Event type rule

Private Event DJ packages are for birthdays, engagements and celebrations without wedding-style formalities. Any event with a wedding ceremony, reception or wedding-style formalities — entrance, first dance, cake cutting or structured speeches — is quoted under wedding pricing.

How add-ons work

Add-ons tailor your night — they don't change the base package type or replace the package level required for your event.

Pricing rules

No surprises, just clarity.

Extras only where there's real added complexity — the quote you sign is the price you pay.

  • Package hours are client coverage hours, not labour hours — setup and pack-down sit outside this.
  • Standard setup, normal arrival, pack-down and Perth metro travel are included.
  • Extended metro / outer area travel and regional WA travel are quoted to suit.
  • Additional charges may apply for early bump-in or extended held access, extra hours, additional audio zones, stairs or long carry distance, difficult access, venue-specific requirements or approved variations.
  • Add-ons do not change the base package type or replace the package level required for your event.
Booking & cancellation

Lock the date, simply.

A 50% non-refundable booking fee secures your date. Your date is held once your signed agreement and the 50% booking fee are both received. The balance is due 14 days before your event, and sooner if you book inside that window — full payment up front if your event is 7 days or less away.

Payment schedule
  • Agreement first — you receive a written agreement covering your package, date, venue, hours and total. Nothing is payable until you have signed it.
  • Booking fee — 50% of your package total, non-refundable, invoiced once the agreement is signed. Your date is held once your signed agreement and the 50% booking fee are both received.
  • Booking more than 14 days before your event — booking fee now, balance due 14 days before the event.
  • Booking 8–14 days before your event — booking fee now, balance within 48 hours of confirmation.
  • Booking 7 days or less before your event — full payment up front.
  • Signing your agreement confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions.
Cancellation policy
  • The 50% booking fee is non-refundable in all cases except where we cancel, or where the Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise.
  • More than 60 days before the event — the booking fee is retained and nothing further is payable.
  • 30 to 59 days before — 75% of the total. 29 days or less — 100% of the total.
  • Cancellations and date changes must be made in writing. One reschedule may be requested and is subject to availability; the booking fee transfers to the new date and updated pricing may apply.
  • Your consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law are preserved.
